Food Digest

Met an old colleague for lunch at Young’s Chinese in Glenview, Ill. Old school interior with a cheap-o lunch menu that boasts an entree, a cup of soup and a cookie. Got the chicken and rice soup with kung pao chicken. Though it was listed in the menu’s “spicy” section, it was pretty tame. I guess it’s just “Glenview spicy.” I’d go back here. Nothing special, but not bad, and definitely affordable. I only paid $8. And I love how you can get no MSG “upon request in certain items.”
