Grabbed lunch at Edzo’s in Evanston with a buddy. I’m glad it’s somewhat of a pain to get to this place, otherwise I’d eat here all the time and probably weigh twice what I do now. It’d be a happy way to die of heart disease, though. (And Edzo can quote me on that.)
First up, I had a peanut butter malt. Not sure what their secret it, but it’s one of the best malts in the area. Then my double-griddle cheeseburger, with ketchup, mustard, pickles and onions. The griddle patties seem a bit thicker these days, but not in either a good or bad way. My buddy and I also split the “loaded” fries, which come with cheese, bacon, sour cream and green onion.
