We decided to try something new, so we headed to Rewster’s Cafe in Logan Square for breakfast, before a little grocery shopping. I got the ham, potato and cheddar hash, with two eggs sunny side up. I dig the decor and the overall vibe of the place, but I was telling the Missus that I’d be inclined to eat here more often if it was walking distance from our place, but it’s not. Otherwise, it just doesn’t have the variety to make it a destination restaurant. I noticed maybe three things on the small breakfast menu that sounded appealing, and one of them would be something I could more easily just make at home.

Still, it gets points for the waterfall in the side room and the board games on a rustic, antique bookcase on the opposite wall.

I eat it. You digest it.
