Used the last six dollar bills in my wallet to buy this salad from the food truck that stops by my Schaumburg office everyday around 1 p.m. It was my first food truck experience, and I wish I’d have gone with one of the pasta dishes. I can’t justify spending $6 on a plastic container of iceberg lettuce, one quartered tomato and some onion slivers, even though the grilled chicken was plentiful.
A colleague was impressed by my apparently healthy lunch, until I held up the little tub of ranch dressing.
“Yep. That negates it,” she said.
Truly.
