The Missus was at theater rehearsal, so after work I fired up the grill and cooked a couple steaks and skewers for her visiting father and me. I have to be honest, it got dark out before I started cooking, and I accidentally pulled the meat before it was fully cooked. The father-in-law noticed they were a little “pink” inside, so I had to swallow my culinary pride and take ‘em out back to cook a little longer. After a few more minutes, they were back on our plates and tasted amazing, thanks to the Missus’ marinade secrets.
