Keeping it simple: Bologna sandwich and Ruffles chips.
Workin’ on a Sunday. Missed lunch because I was out all day covering a story. Got back to the office and got a bag of these Salsitas tomato-and-avocado flavored chips and a Coca-Cola. Chomped and guzzled while typing out my notes.
The finest duo I know: El Ranchero tortilla chips and Fritos-brand jalapeño cheddar cheese dip. Just a little Friday afternoon snack.
The Tower of Power. Poker night at my house means cheap gluttony — the best kind. Before the pizzas arrived, I laid out some chips and these tins of dip.
Two Fritos-brand jalapeño cheddar cheese dips, which is one of the best things you can put in your mouth, and one jalapeño bean dip, which I purchased mostly as a joke from a dollar store. I wouldn’t say it was as bad as you’d think, but that description definitely kept people away. I’m going to estimate that only five individual chips were scraped through the puree bean-mush substance after a good five hours. The cheese, on the other hand, was devoured.
Currently snacking on these Salsa Rio Doritos, which are pleasantly spicy with a hint of lime. I’ll be honest, the retro packing caught my eye in the supermarket or else I probably would never have bought them.
Ate a couple tortilla chips with garlic tomatillo salsa while the Missus made us a “dinner to be eaten later.”
